Sites and locations regularly attended include; power generation, petro-chemical, pharmaceutical, quarries, food processing, historical structures, tunnels, shafts.
Inspections can be a simple "look-see" witnessed by the Client, up to a full video survey carried out with on screen text, metreage, and audio commentary. The recording is scrutinised, can be copied, digitised and issued with a formal bound report containing inserts from "captured" video footage. Debris retrieval varies from removing grinding dust from precision turbines to clearing bird nests from chimneys.
The applications for this type of NDT are as broad as your imagination. We have carried out tasks ranging from retrieving a scaffold pole from 60 feet down a steam pipe, to scanning the internal surface of marine hose lining for air pockets. We work on matter varying from popcorn machines to churches.
Look-in has a workshop to manufacture specialist tooling for unusual tasks requiring one-offs.
Staff are kept up to date with safety passports and all relevant training in working at heights, confined spaces and other hazardous environments.
